Inbound Study Abroad
UniSQ’s Study Abroad program is a strong option for students seeking an affordable, flexible Australian university experience with credit transfer to their home degree. Students can study for one trimester or longer, choosing from a wide range of subjects while experiencing life in regional Queensland. Study Abroad students pay per course, making it a flexible option for those who want to customise their academic experience in Australia. On-campus accommodation is available, and eligible students may apply for the AUD 2,000 Incoming Study Abroad International Travel Grant.
Bachelor of Aviation
UniSQ’s Bachelor of Aviation is attractive for students seeking practical aviation training, industry exposure and flexible study. Candidates can choose Aviation Management or Flight Operations, covering aviation safety, human performance, aircraft operations and aviation business. Flight Operations students use UniSQ’s Boeing 737 and Airbus A320 simulators from first year and may access Qantas-linked enrichment opportunities. The program offers February, June and September intakes in Springfield and Toowoomba, with online options from Trimester 3. Graduates can pursue pilot, aviation management, air safety, airport, logistics and regulatory careers. International candidates may be eligible to apply for scholarships.
Bachelor of Nursing
UniSQ’s Bachelor of Nursing is a strong option for international students seeking a practical pathway to registered nursing in Australia. The degree is NMBA-accredited and AHPRA-approved, with almost 50% of the program dedicated to clinical practice, including 840 placement hours in hospitals, aged care, mental health, community health and rural settings. Students benefit from clinical simulation in well-equipped labs and nursing wards, with intakes in February, June and September. The program is available at Ipswich and Toowoomba for international students. Eligible candidates may apply for UniSQ scholarships.
Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours)

Graduate career-ready after completing a variety of industry placements with the Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours). Learn about human anatomy, systems and movement from experienced academics, clinicians and industry professionals to develop your critical thinking and practical skills. During the five placement opportunities, you will gain experience in acute care, rehabilitation and community settings.
Bachelor of Engineering (Honours)
UniSQ’s Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) is ideal for international students seeking a flexible, practical and professionally recognised engineering degree. The program offers majors in areas such as civil, mechanical, electrical and electronic, biomedical, agricultural, mechatronic and robotic engineering. Students gain industry experience through project-based learning, work with practising engineers, complete a final-year research project and undertake at least 60 days of professional experience. The degree is provisionally accredited by Engineers Australia, with February, June and September intakes across Toowoomba, Springfield and external study options. Eligible candidates may apply for UniSQ scholarships.

Doctor of Philosophy (PhD)
UniSQ’s PhD is attractive for candidates seeking a flexible, applied and well-supported research environment. Students can study online or across UniSQ campuses, with several research intakes throughout the year. UniSQ offers strong supervision, industry links and research expertise across three institutes and nine research centres, including agriculture, astrophysics, future materials, health, education, business, engineering and science. Candidates may also be eligible to apply for scholarships, including awards based on academic excellence, community leadership or financial need.
UniSQ - International Excellence Scholarship - 2027
The scholarship is designed to reward and support high-achieving international students who have demonstrated outstanding academic performance and English language proficiency, and who are commencing their studies at UniSQ in the 2027 teaching year. International students across all fields of study, including undergraduate, postgraduate and research, are eligible for consideration. Recipients will also have the opportunity to participate in the UniSQ International Student Ambassador Program.

UniSQ offers an International PhD Stipend and Fees Scholarship for international students studying or commencing the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in 2026. Applications in all areas of research are welcome, but these should be aligned with UniSQ's flagship areas.
