Inbound Study Abroad

Gain an international study experience, overcome new and exciting challenges. Study Abroad with USQ! With the opportunity to receive credit towards your home university degree, and scholarships available for you to apply for, now is the time to start your Australian study journey with USQ. Study Abroad students can enrol directly through UniSQ or through a Study Abroad Partner. Study Abroad students may receive credit towards their home university degree. They will take a leave of absence from their home university and pay tuition fees directly to UniSQ.

Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours)

Help improve people’s quality of life by becoming a qualified physiotherapist with a degree from UniSQ. Graduate career-ready after completing a variety of industry placements with the Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours). Learn about human anatomy, systems and movement from experienced academics, clinicians and industry professionals to develop your critical thinking and practical skills. During the five placement opportunities, you will gain experience in acute care, rehabilitation and community settings.

Master of Social Work (Qualifying)

Become a social worker in just two years* with UniSQ and embark on a career as a change agent in society. You’ll be prepared to enter an in-demand profession and work with people who are experiencing emotional, social, and economic challenges. The Master of Social Work (Qualifying) can be the start of a new career in social work and can build on your existing skills to make a difference in society. Develop effective communication, creative thinking, and solution-based skills and get 1000 hours of hands-on experience during field placements to prepare you for professional practice. Graduates can work clinically with individuals and families or in counselling, advocacy, community engagement, disability services, social action, and international development.

SCHOLARSHIPS

UniSQ Australian Research Council (ARC) PhD Scholarship

This scholarship is available through the ARC project. The project focuses on developing effective risk management tools to help agribusiness tackle climate risks. Specifically, advanced artificial intelligence techniques will be used to customise weather parameter-indexed innovative financial products. The success of the project will contribute to facilitating the stabilisation of the food supply chain, society, and economy.

UniSQ Destination Australia Scholarship (International)

In 2024, UniSQ will offer a number of Destination Australia Scholarships (International), to support international students commencing full-time on-campus studies in an eligible program at UniSQ Toowoomba. The Destination Australia Program is a scholarship funded by the Australian Government Department of Education. The program provides financial assistance in the form of scholarships for UniSQ domestic and international students, with the aim to promote tertiary education in regional Australia.

In 2024, the University of Southern Queensland (UniSQ) will offer scholarships to new international students studying on-campus, external or online. This scholarship is based on meeting the entry requirements for the program of study and maintaining satisfactory academic performance for duration of study at UniSQ. International students in all areas of award programs undergraduate, postgraduate and research are welcome to apply.
