Certificate III in Animal Care Services & Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing

Certificate III in Carpentry
Gain the skills and knowledge required to work as carpenter in the building and construction industry. According to the Australian Government's Job Outlook service, carpentry skills are in demand with employers finding it hard to fill vacancies for qualified carpenters and joiners. This is a very large occupation with around 69,000 job openings expected over the next five years. In this course, you'll learn how to construct, install, finish and repair structures and fixtures for residential, commercial and industrial developments. This course, delivered by our highly experienced and passionate teachers, will see you graduate with the skills that will allow you to become a qualified carpenter or joiner.
Certificate III in Cabinet Making and Timber Technology
Complete this course as an apprenticeship so you can work and train at the same time.In this course you will gain skills in making and repairing fine timber products using solid timber, flat-panel or timber-based materials. You will learn processes from design through to production including producing manual and computer-aided drawings, using power tools and wood machines, and undertaking jobs within cost and time constraints. Within this course you may specialise in producing free-standing furniture such as dining and bedroom suites, antiques and office furniture; or you may learn the skills required for the manufacture and installation of kitchen and bathroom fittings.
Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology
According to the Australian Government's Job Outlook service, demand for qualified mechanics (including diesel mechanics) grew strongly over the past five years with employers finding it hard to fill vacancies. Job openings are expected to remain steady in the near future with around 23,000 job opening expected over the next five years. Successful completion of this qualification will allow you to apply to become a qualified heavy vehicle tradesperson and continue your career in the industry
Cert IV Kitchen Management/Diploma Hospitality Management
This course will equip you to work within the kitchen at a supervisory level. You will gain hands-on culinary experience in the preparation of appetisers, salads, stocks, sauces, soups, seafood, meat, poultry, breads, pastries and cakes. Develop your supervisory skills and learn how to manage diversity in the workplace, implement sustainable practices, provide leadership, manage finances, and coordinate cooking operations. You will also get the advanced skills needed to manage a hospitality establishment including rostering, budgeting, marketing, and people management.
Diploma of Nursing
Take your career in nursing to the next level with this advanced qualification. This course is the essential minimum requirement to register as an enrolled nurse. The health sector is growing in Australia with the Graduate Outcomes Survey reporting four out of five nursing graduates gain employment within three months of graduation. Successful completion of this course will qualify you to seek registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia. Upon successful registration you may find work as an Enrolled Nurse within a diverse range of healthcare settings.

Successful completion of this course will qualify you to seek registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) to find work as a registered nurse.

According to the Australian Government's MySkills service, it contributes over $10 billion to the our economy and employs nearly 100,000 people. Our partnerships with leading universities mean you will be credited for your time with us if you decide to upgrade your qualification too. Successful completion of our Diploma of Visual Arts (CUA51115) means you automatically qualify for a provisional place in the Bachelor of Creative Industries (Visual Arts)(ARB405) offered in partnership with the University of Canberra, and will receive up to one year of credit towards your degree.

According to the Australian Government's Job Outlook Service, there is very strong future growth predicted for people working as sports coaches, instructors and officials. They predict there will be around 28,000 job openings in this large occupation over the next five years. In this course you'll cover coaching fundamentals including how to plan and deliver coaching programs for high-performing athletes. You'll also be introduced to the area of sports development and discover how to design, deliver and manage a range of community sport and recreation activities for the general public.
Associate Degree in Civil Engineering
According to the Australian Government's Job Outlook service, civil engineering professionals are a skill in high demand with employers finding it hard to fill vacancies. This very large occupation is predicted to grow strongly in the future with around 28,000 job openings expected over the next five years. Successful completion of this course will qualify you to work on infrastructure projects as a civil or structural engineering associate or technical consultant in a variety of industries including engineering, construction, mining and transportation companies, or local and state government agencies. You will also be on the path to further advanced studies.
TAFE QLD Destination Australia Program 2024
Limited scholarships under the Destination Australia Program are available for international students to undertake the HLT54121 Diploma of Nursing 109308H or the SIT40521 Certificate IV in Kitchen Management 109683G at TAFE Queensland in July 2024. These scholarships are open for students planning to commence their studies in July 2024 at TAFE Queensland regional campuses in Bundaberg, Cairns, Toowoomba, Townsville, or the Whitsundays.
