Darwin is the capital and most populated city of the Northern Territory and its proximity to Asia makes it the gateway between Australia and other countries like Indonesia or East Timor. The city has evolved from a small port to a modern and multicultural city with an incredible mix of Asian culture and colonial architecture.

From Darwin, you can take a cruise through the mangroves, a night trip to see the fluorescent coral or visit the Aboriginal lands of Ubirr.
In short, Darwin is a place for discovery while you learn English and experience its people and unique culture.

Did you know...?

Just like the Phoenix, the city of Darwin has risen from its ashes many times. During the Second World War, it was attacked by Japanese planes causing many deaths and damage to the city's infrastructure.
Years later, in 1974, it was hit by Cyclone Tracy, causing the destruction of 70% of the buildings and the evacuation of 30,000 people. After the disaster, the city was rebuilt and turned into a modern city.
