The weather in Canberra

Canberra has an oceanic climate, with four seasons clearly distinguished due to the city's distance from the coast. Summers are hot and dry, while winters are cold and, sometimes, there are snowfalls.
January is usually the hottest month of the year, with an average high of 28ºC, and July is the coldest, with a minimum temperature of minus 2ºC.
