I chose to study my undergraduate degree at QUT based on the strength of its reputation in both teaching staff and graduate outcomes. I connected with my current employer, Stephens & Tozer, through QUT’s graduate employment register which is circulated for PLT students. I undertook my four week placement with the firm, and was offered a position after the conclusion of the placement period.

Combined Master of Engineering Management and Project Management
QUT really is a university for the real world. The assignments and case studies part of the curriculum all related to real life scenarios and teaching us how to resolve them. For example, I worked on a medical project pertaining to market studies on 3D printed cardiovascular stents. Sustainability was one of the key aspects of our project as we had to provide a management solution to develop and bring to existence a sustainable, economical and functional stent. I worked with professors who were passionate too in bringing this technology to the market.
