Bachelor of International Public Health
The Bachelor of International Public Health is designed for students who are interested in improving the health and wellbeing of populations across the globe, and in the prevention of disease and disability. Public health focuses on improving and protecting the health and wellbeing of communities, with an emphasis on prevention among large groups of people. This degree focuses on supporting you to develop the practical skills and knowledge required to investigate local and global public health problems, as well as the ability to design and implement innovative new approaches to emerging issues. It will provide you with a solid understanding of the different health needs of communities, the social and environmental factors that influence health and how to reduce the risks and inequities.
Master of Engineering Science
This degree is designed for students looking to further their career by upskilling, retraining, refreshing on recent developments in the field or further specialising in an area of engineering. You’ll have the flexibility to specialise in one area or broaden your knowledge in other areas of Engineering. As you build on your knowledge, you’ll meet the requirements to maintain professional accreditation standards and continue your professional development. Exciting and practical, this degree features complex, open-ended enquiry-based projects as well as many other opportunities to help you become a leader in your field. Students will develop their technical knowledge and ability to analyse engineering problems. They will also gain further skills in solving engineering problems and justifying professional decisions. The completion of an enquiry-based project provides a pathway toward postgraduate research degrees.
Master of Commerce
UNSW’s Master of Commerce is designed in consultation with industry professionals to prepare students with career focused experience. The degree is delivered by the UNSW Business School (ranked number 1 out of 40 business schools in Australia). The master is a two-year full-time course that will empower you with the skills to make a difference through technology. Doctor of Philosophy (PhD)
As a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) candidate, you’ll complete a substantial program of independent and original research in your chosen field of study. UNSW will support you to develop the skills and expertise you need to make a difference in your field. You will receive advanced specialist research training and produce a thesis that provides evidence for independent thought, critical analysis, and expert knowledge of the discipline in an international context. In some disciplines, creative work may form part of the thesis.
UNSW Australia's Global University Award
This scholarship supports motivated international students to achieve their academic and personal goals. Through the Australia's Global Award, your future as a global citizen is supported, recognised and powered at UNSW. Receive $10,000 for one year. Payment will be made directly towards tuition fees in the second term of the first year of study.
UNSW International Scientia Coursework Scholarship
The globally recognised and prestigious Scientia Scholarship is our flagship scholarship for students with high academic achievement and leadership skills who are engaged in extracurricular work and are passionate about studying at UNSW. Receive full tuition fee support for the duration of your degree or receive a $20,000 contribution (per year) to tuition fees.
UNSW International Student Award
UNSW celebrates the impact and contribution of international students with our new International Student Award. Receive 15% toward tuition fees for every year of your program. The Award is available for students from eligible countries who are starting their studies in 2023 or 2024. Plus, you can combine the Award with other UNSW scholarships.
UNSW Research Training Program International (RTPI) Scholarship
A scholarship provided by the Australian Government and UNSW to high achieving international higher degree research candidates. This scholarship provides a living allowance, tuition fee scholarship and single overseas student health cover (OSHC) to support you during your higher degree research candidature at UNSW. There are three applications rounds each year.
