Our Bachelor of Medical Imaging (Honours) (BMedImag(Hons)) is the first undergraduate Medical Imaging programme and the only honours degree in Medical Imaging to be offered by a university in New Zealand. The programme is evidence-based and research-led and you will benefit from a combination of academic and clinical studies. The programme offers practical experience in simulation labs, hospitals and private radiology facilities so you will be well prepared to apply your learning in the clinical workplace. The extensive hands-on clinical experience throughout is supported by experienced Medical Imaging Technologists (MITs). Nutrition and Dietetics equips you with the knowledge and skills to provide safe, competent and responsible dietetic care in a variety of health settings. Nutrition and Dietetics is an important aspect in patient care and recovery. Dietetic care includes the provision of safe, enjoyable, nutritionally adequate and appropriate food and fluids to meet people’s nutritional needs. In this specialisation you will learn about applied nutrition, public health nutrition and food service management. The Nutrition and Dietetics specialisation is designed to provide the specialised postgraduate training required to enable you to seek registration with the New Zealand Dietitians Board.

This practice-focused programme will equip you to interrogate business challenges and then source, manipulate and analyse data to address issues and inform organisational strategies. You will also develop a strong portfolio of professional skills that will enable you to communicate effectively to a non-technical audience through the use of data visualisation tools and storytelling. You will have a choice of three specialisations. These provide the opportunity to develop and apply analytical techniques in your field and engage in a project-based industry capstone that provide experience in responding to the challenges of working in a live business context with real data.
