The purpose of the Latin American Academic Achievement Scholarship is to encourage high-achieving, well rounded Latin American international students to Victoria University of Wellington and to support them in their studies. Applicants must not only be strong academically, but must also demonstrate involvement in extracurricular activities and have a focus on internationalisation.
The Tongarewa Scholarships celebrate the University’s commitment to our international student community. We award a range of these scholarships to international students each year. Scholarships are awarded competitively on the basis of academic excellence. They apply to study in the year following application and will be credited to tuition fees.
The Vice Chancellor’s International Excellence Scholarship supports high-achieving new international undergraduate students to study at Victoria University of Wellington in 2023. There is no application procedure for this scholarship, and awardees will be notified if they have received the scholarship.
