This scholarship celebrates the diversity of nations with international students attending Southern Cross University.
For academically outstanding future international students in all fields of study. The key criteria for students is to exceed the academic and English entry requirements for the program and present themselves as an outstanding academic candidate.
This scholarship aims to attract new female international students wanting to study a full undergraduate or postgraduate degree from the Faculty of Science and Engineering or Faculty of Health or Bachelor/Master of Information Technology at the Gold Coast, Lismore or Coffs Harbour campuses at Southern Cross University.
The Academic Merit Scholarship is awarded at the conclusion of each trimester to the student who achieves the most outstanding academic results (highest GPA) in their first trimester of studies at the College, across all programs (excluding Foundation) and campuses.
The bursary is equivalent to 10% of tuition fee for the first attempt at units in the program of study (ie. Diploma#, Associate Degree with Griffith College, a Navitas member institution (excluding mixed English option) and is credited to the eligible student’s tuition fee account each trimester (the amount being relevant to the number of units undertaken in that trimester).
