I can look back on my time at UC and say it was a truly unique and practical experience which taught me how to express my creativity through communication. The real-world industry insight and experience that my teachers had was invaluable. Since graduating, I’ve moved to Melbourne, started working in a global advertising agency and haven’t looked back!
The final year industry project was the highlight of my UC journey. I worked with a team of robotics researchers to design and manufacture an advanced robotic hexapod that’s now being used as an educational platform to teach robotics - an incredibly valuable experience to kickstart my professional engineering career.
After four and a half years in teaching I wanted a new challenge, so I decided to go back to university to stay at the forefront of the industry. The Master of Education really addresses the problems you experience in education and helps you go back into the classroom feeling fully confident.
You can learn content anywhere, but getting real, hands-on experience from tutors who really care about your success is priceless.
