MQ University – Faculty of Science and Engineering Sustainability Scholarship [2025]

This scholarship is awarded for up to 4 years for Undergraduate or up to 2 years for Postgraduate students, subject to meeting ongoing eligibility critera.

Criteria

To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Be commencing or is currently enrolled in an undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degree in the Faculty of Science and Engineering in Session 1 2025.
  • Intend to study Full-Time and internally (i.e. on campus).
  • Demonstrated record of high academic achievement.
  • Can demonstrate the potential to make a positive impact in support of the United Nations Sustainable Develop goals.
  • Preference will be given to students who can demonstrate financial hardship or disadvantage.

Applications available via Macquarie University Scholarship Application. Applicants will need to provide two references, one from an academic source (e.g. school principal, undergraduate lecturer) and one from another person who can comment on their suitability for this scholarship. Short-listed applicants may be contacted to attend an informal interview with representatives of Macquarie University.
