The Faculty of Science and Engineering is proud to offer Science and Engineering international Undergraduate students who commence the first year of their degree from 2019 to 2023, the opportunity to be considered for the Science and Engineering International Undergraduate Merit Extension Scholarship. This is an ongoing merit-based scholarship which will cover the remaining duration of their undergraduate degree program.

This scholarship category awards eligible students 25% off their first year of tuition. Students who have weighted average mark above 80% or comparable in their final year of secondary school
Awarded to commencing international articulation students applying to a UC Bachelor coursework degree at the Bruce campus.
All applicants are assessed for a scholarship at the time of application to the course at UC. No further application is required.
20% off total tuition fee
Awarded to commencing international students applying to a UC undergraduate and postgraduate coursework degree at the Bruce campus.
10% off total tuition fee
Awarded to commencing international students applying to a UC undergraduate and postgraduate coursework degree at the Bruce campus.
25% off total tuition fee
Awarded to new commencing international students from specific countries who are applying for admission to a specific UC Bachelor or Master degree coursework.
Valued at AUD $5,000 – $10,000 (tuition fee reduction) the Master of Pharmaceutical Industry Practice International Student Scholarship is for international students with an offer or confirmed place in the Master of Pharmaceutical Industry Practice.

UQ Lifelong Learner Scheme provides assistance with tuition fees for UQ alumni commencing a relevant program at UQ in 2023. The value of the scheme is a 10% reduction in tuition fees per year with a maximum duration of four years or the duration of the program where it is less than four years. There are 150 available per semester.
The UQ International Onshore Merit Scholarship provides assistance with tuition fees for high achieving international students whose most recent qualifications are from Australia, and are commencing a relevant program at UQ in 2023. The value of the scholarship is a one-off tuition fee reduction of A$10,000 which will be split into two A$5,000 amounts and applied across the first two semesters of the program. There are 150 available per semester.
The UQ International Excellence Scholarship provides assistance with tuition fees for high achieving international students commencing a relevant program at UQ in 2023. The value of the scholarship is a 25% reduction in tuition fees per year with a maximum duration of four years or the duration of the program where it is less than four years. There are 50 available per semester.
International students who accept their offer to study with us may automatically qualify for the “Welcome to Queensland Scholarship”.
A limited number of scholarships are available to domestic and overseas DOCTORAL students who wish to continue their education through a Higher Degree Research (HDR) PhD program.
